We turn 9 today.
While 2020 has been one of the most eventful year, it is at the same time the least.
Instead of sharing the good and the bad that has happen this year, we want to walk down memory lane to remind ourselves of the lessons we've learnt so far. (and why we're still doing what we do.)
1) There's nothing more important than family. No matter how busy you get, you can ALWAYS make time.
2) At work: there's nothing more important than having good teammates. To be surrounded by good people creates your office/class environment. (we have found ourselves a great team, this year has made that more evident.) *Make sure they know you appreciate them
3) When you say yes to something, always give it your 110%. (forever thankful for this lesson)
4) Cliche but true: Learning the mistakes from others is better than making your own.
5) When people talk about you, just let it slide and focus on your craft.
6) Choose nice people to work with. Always.
7) When in doubt, talk it out. (in a normal safe un-aggressive tone) *moderate volume please
8) You don't have the rights to be a judge. So stop judging.
9) Stay humble and be kind always. (There's no scale for hardship and everyone has their own journey.)
We are still creating. We are still sharpening our craft. And we are still far from where we want to be.
Here's to another 9 of the dream chase.
Stay safe, stay tuned, and don't forget to subscribe :)
Happy 9th anniversary Grim Film.
